I just started working on some flip-up (gull wing) door tops for my 2013 Commander XT 1000. It came with suicide doors but didn't have the upper sections. I wasn't a fan of the zippered options, so I'm crafting my own using 3/4" conduit. It's lightweight but a bit tricky to weld with a stick. The plan is to secure it with a pop pin into the Pro Armor bracket and use a lift strut similar to what you'd find on a truck toolbox lid.

For the window, I'm opting for marine-grade vinyl, which I'll mount using grommets and bungee balls, just like I did on my old Rhino. I still need to plug the ends of the tubes and seal the top with some garage door gasket. I'll share more updates as everything comes together!

Props for going the conduit route too, tricky to weld with stick, yeah, but strong and light when done right. The lift strut idea is good also, toolbox style flips are clean and functional

That sounds awesome! Curious how the lift struts are mounted, did you reinforce the hinge area or just go with trial and error?
