Pissed now that I notice a whiff of raw fuel while riding my 2020 Commander Max X, but only here and there, not consistently. There's no visible leaks and the fuel usage seems normal. Is this common? What to do?

Nope, not too common.. but a fuel smell now and then usually is just something minor like a cracked hose or a worn gas cap seal so go ahead and check those too. Even if you don't see a leak, fumes can still escape.

A raw fuel smell, even if there aren't any visible leaks, usually indicates a problem with the vent or the seal on the fuel cap. It's a good idea to inspect the tank vent and the hoses for any cracks or loose areas. I experienced something similar before, and it turned out to be a cracked vent hose. When do you typically notice the smell?

Can you try and find the tank breather hose? I'm 99% sure it's somewhere in the interior part, so you might need to reroute it.

Had a similar issue with my 2020 Commander Max, we found out the fuel vent line was routed in a way that let fumes drift into the cab, especially after filling up. Also worth checking the filler neck weld for any tiny leaks, it's a known weak spot on some models
