Can-Am 1000XT headaches

In March, I bought a 2012 Can-Am Commander 1000XT. Compared to the demo, it was louder, the steering was heavy, and the drivetrain clunked. I installed power steering, but the noise remains, and after less than 25 hours of light use, it went into limp mode. The dealer charged for diagnosis, and BRP refused help, has anyone else face similar issues?

Commander CVT clutches often wear out, and the primary clutch can get misaligned. This can cause noise and limp mode. So, take a look at the clutch parts, check the belt, and make sure the engine mounts aren't too worn.

Yeah, had a similar issue once with a used 2013 Commander I picked up for trail work. Steering was stiff until I added EPS, but the clunking stayed, especially under load. Mine hit limp mode due to a bad throttle position sensor, which took forever to diagnose. Did your dealer mention any fault codes or check the belt and clutch wear? Those seem to trigger limp mode more often than they should.
