Want to upgrade to a higher hp after thinking for a long time. I really pondered about this although my wife said it's not necessary. I'm thinking for the long run it would be good. I currently have the Commander 1000XT and it's 35hp less than what I'm eyeing. But I could go for the 200hp version if I'm really focused on that right? What do you think? Is 200hp a little too much?

I totally understand your point of view. Having 200hp in a side-by-side is impressive,it's fantastic for tackling dunes and wide trails, but it might be a bit excessive for narrow, wooded areas. If you have the room and you're planning to really use it, then why not? Just keep in mind that you'll need to deal with more upkeep and fuel consumption. Honestly, if it brings you joy, it's definitley worth it.

Wait, I'm confused. the 1000xt has 85 hp, so it's 35 less than what?

anyways, 200 hp for a casual offroad is too much IMO. Sure, it's fun, but you'll hardly use the most of if

Haha, that brings back memories of when I was torn between sticking with my Brute Force or upgrading to a turbocharged Maverick X3. My wife had the same chat with me, asking, "Do you really need that much power?" In the end, I went with the 172hp model, and to be honest, that's more than enough for trail rides.
