Primary Clutch problem

Tackled my first clutch job on my 2014 CanAm Commander 1000 XT this week and man, pulling the primary clutch off is a whole different battle. I thought it'd be a simple at first, just to pop it loose and slide it off, but it fought me every inch of the way. I ran a puller, hit it with penetrating oil, even gave it some heat, still felt like it was welded, I legit spent about 2 hrs on it. My neighbor said that sometimes they just crack free once the puller is set right, but I must've been missing something I dont know
Is there something else I can do about it ?, open to even unconventional ideas too

You're not alone, @polcas rae. The Commander 1000 XT's primary clutch is often stubborn, especially after sitting or heavy use. Try the hydraulic pop technique: fill the clutch cavity with fluid, insert a tight-fitting bolt wrapped in thread tape, and crank it until the pressure frees the clutch. It's messy but works when traditional pullers fail.

First, check that your puller fits the Can-Am clutch correctly. Some aftermarket versions don't seat deeply enough. Did applying heat cause any movement, or was it completely stuck? If still stuck, try the hydraulic method and prepare your workspace for any mess. Let us know your results.
